George Sharp has announced his resignation as Pipe Major of the Scottish Fire & Rescue Service Pipe Band, with immediate effect.
In a meeting with the band members on Wednesday the 3rd of December George announced his intention to step down as Pipe Major.
The Scottish Fire & Rescue Service Pipe Band are, therefore, currently looking for a replacement PM with Pipe Sergeant Alasdair Brown taking over the reigns on an interim basis.

Not only have we managed to acquire such a unique venue to hold the ceilidh, we have also managed to secure the internationally travelled sensational Iain Armstrong Ceilidh band who will be ensuring that your toes will be tapping and you feet dancing till the wee small hours. There will be a well stocked bar run by the Pipe Band so a City Centre Ceilidh without the City Centre prices !!!! What more could you ask for.
